Maurisse's Diary Entry

Dear Diary,
First, you should probably know that I'm writing this only because Mommy wanted me to. So, I am going to tell you everything that happened today, not keeping any secrets (as told by Mommy), though I suspect that is because she wanted to read you. Anyway, I am not going to keep any secrets from you (as told by Mommy).

Today started fairly well. I got to eat spaghetti for breakfast, and trust me, Mommy NEVER cooks spaghetti for me. Well, except for that time I fell from a tree and broke my leg. On the bad side, I got spaghetti sauce all over my dress, and Mommy insisted that I change into another dress.

Then, Mr. Herondale accused me of scribbling on my workbook. Nonsense! I surely didn't scribble on them; my sister did that. Well, except for that Winnie The Pooh Bear in the corner. But no one would mind that, right? I mean, he's so adorable!

Can you guess what happened when I got home? Mommy grounded me! Just because I microwaved Teddy in the oven doesn't mean that I deserved to be grounded! Mommy scolded me for doing such a silly thing. Nonsense! Teddy told me he enjoyed it very much.

Now I'm stuck in my room writing this. To be truthful, I'm sorely tempted to throw back my head and howl. I'm SO bored.

Okay, now my detention time is over! Yay! Hooray! Gotta go now, bye.
